Luke 11:31 But seek the Kingdom of God, and all these things shall be added to you.

The Kingdom of God is a physical, yet spiritual place. It is the place where God reigns supreme with Jesus at His right hand as the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. When we become believers in Christ, the Kingdom of God is in the present and enters into our heart. The Kingdom of God then lies within and as such we live within and out of the Kingdom of God.

Jesus is asking us to seek first the Kingdom of God. If we put other things ahead of the Kingdom of God, they will instead overtake our lives. Whatever sin may beset us, we need to understand that we can't just stop it.  That then becomes a never-ending battle. We have to instead "replace" it . For instance, if you are prone to worry, don't stop worrying, but instead "replace" it with meditating on the goodness of God. If you have a habit of gossipping, don't stop it, but "replace" it by speaking good of that person.  We are all creatures of habit, and because of the sin nature that we carry in our humanness, some of our habits do not line up with the Kingdom or will of God.  We have tried to stop them over and over again, and have failed.  Always remember:  "A habit or a passion can only be given up for a greater habit or passion."

When we replace a bad habit with things that are part of the Kingdom of God, we then reap the benefits that come with the Kingdom of God. In that, "all these wonderful things" of the Kingdom of God are then added unto us.
