Hebrews 4:16

Hebrews 4:16 Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

This chapter tells us that Jesus, as our High Priest in heaven, sympathizes with our weaknesses. Jesus paid the ultimate price and died on the cross for our sin. God's love is so great for His creation in that He sent a part of Himself down to earth to become like us to experience the sins and pain of this world and then to offer salvation to those who would receive Him. Not everyone, however, received Him, but for those who did, they became a part of His family. God has poured His mercy and grace upon His family as a gift. because He is very familiar with our weaknesses and so desires that we come to Him with help as we need it. As such, through Jesus as our intercessor, we can boldly, meaning confidently and without fear, come before God’s throne.

We are welcome to sit at His feet and bring our concerns to our Abba Father. This is a privilege reserved only for those who are a part of His family - those who truly belong to Him. There is no prideful arrogance, because God is our heavenly Father whom we know loves us unconditionally. We come before His throne to receive mercy and help as we need it because Jesus is interceding before the Father on our behalf.

Do you need a touch of God's mercy and grace today? Are you suffering from the experiences that sin and pain has brought into your life?  They come in all forms - sickness, diseases, financial deficit, substance abuse, relationship division, and freedom from sin to name a few. The good news is you CAN boldly, yet in humble thankfulness, come to God as His child to receive His mercy and find His unending grace when you need it.

Do you need healing? Come to God and receive His healing power.
Do you need your finances restored? Come to God and receive from Him.
Do you need a relationship healing? Come to God and receive His grace.
Whatever your need, you have a heavenly Father Who loves you and wants to pour His grace and mercy upon you today.

Right now, go boldly before your Father in heaven for whatever is your need. He is your daddy, just waiting to bless you with His love and grace to provide whatever you need.
