Romans 1:16

Rom 1:16  For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first, and also for the Greek.

In Greek, Gospel means “good news.”

Some Christians get embarrassed to share the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to other people - particularly in circles such as work, social settings, or even family members. Fear sets in and they don’t want to be rebuked or appear to be different than those around them.

Oh dear Christian, we must always joyfully remember that we are a creation of God and He has blessed us so abundantly – far more than we could ever ask or think. We hold the answers to all of life’s problems because we belong to the Kingdom of God and the King of kings lives within us through His Spirit to led,guide,  protect, and empower us wherever we go.

Sadly, unbelievers suffer and pretend that all is well while they carry the problems of the world with and within them. Many try to bury their problems with addictions of whatever to distract them from the realities of their life around them.. If only they knew they could be set free!

You have the answers to their problems because you have the Holy Spirit living within you and the Word of God to instruct you. As such, you then have the power and the answers to share the good news of the Gospel of Jesus to a dying world. Why then should we be afraid?

Can you reach out today and set your heart upon looking for opportunities to share Jesus with someone today? Can you ask the Lord to connect you with that someone and then remind yourself of the power within you to speak lovingly and caringly to them about Jesus and how they can be set free?

PRAYER:  Jesus, I yield myself to you today to be used as your vessel of truth. Place within my path this day someone who is hurting and ready to hear Your words of encouragement? Then give me the wisdom, the right words and the courage to speak forth your Words of Truth.
