Revelation 3:20

Rev 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him and He with Me.

In Greek, the word “behold” means “look, listen, this is important.”

Whenever we see the word “behold,” we need to take note that this is important. Jesus tells us in Rev. 3:20 that He is knocking at the door of our heart. He wants to come in!  Originally, this verse was written to the Church to take seriously their faith by not only inviting Jesus into their heart, but to have a continuous fellowship with Him. Christian, keep the door of fellowship open with Jesus – commune with Him faithfully and regularly. Jesus wants to have conversations with you like you would with a special close friend. You share your heart with Jesus and He shares His heart with you. Take a few minutes right now and commune with Him.

This scripture also applies to unbelievers who have never invited Jesus into their life. If then you have never invited Jesus to come into your heart to live and guide your life, He is asking you to accept His invitation. Won’t you invite Jesus to come into your heart right now?

PRAYER: Jesus, I hear you knocking. Please come into my heart. I want to commune with you. I believe in You and what You have done for me. Amen.

I BELIEVE: Jesus is my Lord. I will listen to His voice.
