Romans 12:1-2

Rom 12:1-2 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. ² And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

In Greek, the word “beseech” means “to plead or beg.”

Christ gave up His life shedding His blood on the cross for your sins so you can live victoriously on earth” in Him” as well as eternally “with Him” in heaven.  What He is asking of you is to offer your life back to Him as a “living” sacrifice. For all He has done for you, is that too much to ask of yourself?

God created you as a unique one-of-a-kind person, so don't let the ways of the world sway you to be like everyone else. Let God transform you to be that person He created you to be. You do that by taking the Word of God seriously by not conforming to the ways and patterns of this world, but allowing the Word of God to transform you from the inside out.  God wants to change the way you think to be aligned with His ways to lead a holy life that is pleasing to Him. When you do, you will truly know you are leading a life that is being perfected in all ways according to the will of God.  

PRAYER: Lord, I yield my whole self over to you today to live a life that is pleasing to You. Change me from the inside out.

I BELIEVE: God is at work in me completing His will for my life.

Phil 1:6 Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.
