Proverbs 3:5-6

Proverbs 3:5-6  Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. ⁶ In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your path.

In Hebrew, the word “trust” means “to be confident or sure of something.”

God wants your faith to be built up so strong in Him to where you are confident and sure that the promises in His Word will come to pass in your life. God is asking you to daily yield your spirit, soul (which consists of your mind, will and emotions), as well as your body over to the Lord with complete confident that He knows what's best for you in all areas of your life. God’s Spirit, the Holy Spirit within you, is now the command center of your life. Trust Him! Trust God’s Word!

• Remember, when you are afraid, God will never leave you nor forsake you.
• Remember, when you are sick - “by Jesus’ strips” you are healed.
• When your body cries out for attention, which it does a lot, remember to yield yourself over to the Holy Spirit’s will for you.

Allow the Holy Spirit to take control of your life and then trust the Lord with your whole being. Lay aside your own understanding, for you don’t know what is best for you. You cannot see or know your future, but God does.  He knows the beginning from the end. His path for you will always be the right path.

PRAYER: Lord, right now I yield myself to you. Holy Spirit, you are the command center of my life; therefore, help me to listen and obey.

I BELIEVE: My trust is in the Lord for He knows what is best for me.

Jer. 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.
