2 Corinthians 5:17

2 Cor 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away, behold, all things have become new.

LOOK! Behold, this is wonderful news! When you came to Christ, you became a new person. You now have Christ living in you through the power of the Holy Spirit.  As such, your life is now hidden in Christ, as you and Him intimately walk through life together.

Think about it. Before you came to Christ, you lived by your fleshly desires that may have brought momentary pleasure or satisfaction, but led you down the path to dissatisfaction and even misery. You now have the power of the Holy Spirit living in you to comfort you when you need it, guide you down your path in life, instructing you as to the ways in which you can live the best life. That power to lead that life is now operational within you because God is molding you to become the very best person that He originally created you to become. You are no longer that person you once were. That life is done – gone forever. You are now a new person, seeking new desires and pleasures, allowing God to continuously do that dramatic change in your life. As you do, He works busily in you to accomplish His purpose by placing His desires in you to give you the strength to live the God-kind of life.

Philippians 2:13, "it is God who is at work in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure" 

Whenever you start to feel those old feelings of inadequacy, sadness, fear, lack, or anything that goes contrary to God’s will and purpose for your life – STOP!  Simply tell God you are sorry and then get your focus back on Christ and what He has done and is doing for you.

If you have never experienced that wonderful new birth in Christ, are you ready to believe and trust in Jesus to become that new creation in God? If so, then right now, simply ask Him to come into your life to change you to become that person. He’s right there to answer your sincere prayer and begin that new creation within you.
